Feeding

The recommended feeding rate is from 1 to 5 lbs/head/day. Feed to cattle as needed to supplement grazed or harvested forage diets. Adjust amount of feed for desired body condition. Ensure that cattle have access to adequate forage and water. Depending upon forage quality and animal requirements, additional mineral supplement may be required. Benefits:
  • Pellet form which is convenient and assures adequate intake plus eliminates cattle from sorting or selecting feed.
  • Increased availability of energy by optimizing fiber digestion which helps improve body condition and performance of cattle on winter forage.
  • An all-natural crude protein supplement that enhances digestibility and intake of forage by providing needed crude protein where forage protein is lacking.
  • Vitamin A for improved reproduction and performance on winter forage where vitamin A is lacking.
  • Supplement feeding creates a closer observation of cattle, plus helps make cattle more manageable.
